Lovely peaceful location

Beautiful location amongst trees in a managed parkland setting with alfresco dining facilities and a view towards the bay. Comfortable interior offering enough space for up to four people on a short stay, parking, a laundry, plenty of hot water and everything worked as it should. This host knows how to do it properly, putting other hosts to shame and should be the benchmark for other aspiring hosts to match.

The toilet seat was loose and needs re fitting…but thats just maintenance.

The location was so beautiful and the home was well maintained and cozy.

There was laundry, but the instructions for using it were not easily found.

The bird song was incredible

The location of being surrounded by nature was amazing, sitting on the paved patio, or from the lounge and looking towards the water while the sun was setting was absolutely beautiful, the view from the main room looking out towards the water in the early morning

The shower door needs to be repaired, it doesn't close properly, so, when you get out of the shower this has resulted in a large puddle of water accumilating while showering which could also cause damage/replacing the flooring in the bathroom.

Position, position, position! Great views, lots of birds and very quiet. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent spot close to the village of Akaroa but far enough away from the crowds.
