Location overlooking the bay, everything in the cottage worked well from heating, to wifi, kitchen appliances and hot water.

The water in the vicinity leaves large pieces of limescale floating in the kettle and tastes a bit weird. Would recommend future guests to bring own bottled water.

The location was very handy to the township of Akaroa.

Access to key in the dark was a minor challenge

Amazing location, quiet with beautiful views. Living room was warm and cozy - gas fireplace did a good job.

- Bathroom heater was spoilt, with no prior notification. It was extremely cold. When we told the host, there were apologies but no service recovery (eg extra standalone heater) - Shower was quite old, water pressure was slightly low and hot water came on and off. - Wifi was not working throughout our stay. Some electrical outlets and extension cord was not working.
