The location was good.

We found the cottage to be 'tired' and in need of a refreshing. The shower was poor and mouldy in places, the toiletries provided may as well have not been there, the kettle was full of calcification, the wall heater in the passageway either didn't work or was ineffective. For the money we expected a little better.

"Lovely little cottage with amazing views!"

Beautiful private surroundings full of native birdlife, especially the very friendly fantails! The view from the cottage and main bedroom was spectacular! The walkway to Akaroa is definitely worth doing! We left feeling very rested and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - thank you.

"Amazing view and accommodation just out of Akaroa"

We had an amazing stay at Cherrywood Cottage. The view is amazing and a very short drive into Akaroa (3-4 mins). It was clean and had everything we needed. Like a home away home. Highly recommend.

"If only I could live there.."

What a beautiful and relaxing spot to stay and not far from town. We really loved our not so little cottage and were sad to leave.
