"Very Good"

Outstanding setting and location. Very peaceful and quiet. Great to watch the wildlife. Very convenient for getting to Truro and onto public transport. Handy for local pubs to eat out and shops.

We previously stayed in 2021 and found that this time, 2026, there was the same settee, chair, soft furnishings and duvet cover. All these would benefit from renewing as these were a bit worn and worse for wear. We both suffer from asthma and the fact that dogs have stayed in the cabin is Very apparent, particularly in the bedroom. On our stay there was quite a bit of dust in the corners and we had to vac around the dressing table plugs. For longer stays it would be nice to have more than one set of towels available.

"Beautiful setting, cosy log cabin"

Lovely hosts and an unexpected cream tea on arrival. Lovely private setting. Everything you need in a self catering accomodation. Beautiful grounds and so quiet too.

It was a shame we could only stay 1 night, wouldve loved to stay longer!

A wonderful and cheaper alternative to a hotel. Tucked away with nothing to hear except the birds and occasional splash in the pond. Shame I was only staying one night, but I will be back when next working locally
