Polgwedhen Lodge

Great location, tucked away but easy to find, very quiet, just what we wanted as we had our nervous dog with us. Great communication from the owners. Nice and warm inside even on a frosty night.

We liked the remoteness of the lodge, with it being a good base to explore Cornwall. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the scones and tea on arrival!

Everything cute little lodge but very comfortable. Good location for walks and a half hour drive to St ives. Everything was there you'd need for comfort, relaxation and to cook. A cream tea on arrival. Host was friendly and made us feel at ease but after the initial greeting you are left to enjoy but with their details if you need anything

Not really a didn't like, but depending on your dog depends on the level of secure the garden is. We have a shiba which is an escape artist so kept her on a long lead to wonder round on.

Our stay coincided with a storm and heavy rain throughout the weekend. Fortunately for my husband and I we felt perfectly happy and very comfortable to be wrapped up in such a lovely property.

Beautiful location and quite the lodge was lovely and cosy. The owner vanda was lovely she left us a nice surprise scones and cream can't wait to go again. THANKS FOR A LOVELY STAY

Peaceful,cosy the host was lovely no I interruptions

Everything was lovely the lake was lovely however it was a struggle getting the row boat around the lake it could have done with a little clean up

The location was great and so peaceful with secluded grounds all to yourself. The lodge was so comfortable and the hosts were lovely. They left us a lovely cream tea for our arrival which was a sweet touch. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were perfect for our needs. The views over the lake were beautiful.
