This property is an absolute gem, it was Very clean and secluded with beautiful land surrounding the cabin

Location.

Slightly dated.

Idyllic setting, cosy comfortable/beautifully clean lodge. Ideally situated very convenient to enjoy lots of Cornwall sights.

The lodge was just perfect in every aspect. Beautiful surroundings and we also received more detailed instructions on where the lodge was located . We had a very relaxing time and our little Jack Russel also enjoyed her stay. Vanda was very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be booking another stay here in the future

What a beautiful setting and so peaceful! We were welcomed by Vanda, such a caring and kind lady. Vanda had prepared a wonderful homemade cream tea for us! Tony, Vanda’s husband, had put lovely fairy lights up around the outside of the lodge and on two small trees on the decking. A Christmas wreath adorned the outside of the lodge door. It all looked so pretty! Inside, Vanda had decorated the the bed posts and had various Christmas wreathes and flowers dotted around, which we really appreciated. There were thoughtful additions, like doggy towels and covers for the sofa, hot water bottles, towels and flannels, Vanda had thought of everything we could need! The lodge was incredibly well insulated and so was nice and warm and cosy inside. There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and the lodge had an ironing board, iron and hairdryer. It was fully equipped for cooking, with an oven and hob, crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooking pans and utensils and cleaning materials. There was a fridge, a T.V and some books and videos. The heating was more than adequate and the lodge had such a lovely feel, with beautiful views of the lake and trees and lots of wildlife. We took our dog walks around the lake and enjoyed the lovely plants and vegetation. We wished we were able to stay longer but we will come back during the spring, to fully appreciate the flowers and trees.

The decking was a tad slippery when wet.

Fantastic cabin in a lovely quiet location next to a lake and plenty of room for the dog to run around. Cabin extremely comfortable and ideal for a romantic break

Nothing

Very secluded and easy to get to. Self contained and had all the items you would need to be self sufficient for the week. Very comfortable bed & sofa. WiFi was strong in the living room to stream Netflix, but would drop out in the bedroom. Lovely surprise of a cream tea on arrival. Heating worked great and the lake was a bonus should you want to stretch your legs for a wonder.

Unfortunately, when it rained and then stopped the rain dripping off the tree above the bedroom onto the roof was very loud. If you are a heavy sleeper (like my partner) then it won’t bother you at all! Other than that it was a perfect stay.

Really comfortable and relaxing ! Vanda was a wonderful host 😃
