Kanuka Cottage was an ideal place for us to stay while we explored the Akaroa area. The cottage is close to restaurants and services but located just outside of town in a quiet setting where we were able to enjoy listening to native birds on our patio.

Set in lovely garden setting down treed drive with other cottages dotted around. 2Bedroom cottage with lovely sunny porch, large lounge and kitchen and big bathroom. Very clean, light and airy.

"Lovely well-appointed cottage in a quiet and private setting"

The cottage was well laid out and very comfortably and tastefully appointed. The setting was gorgeous, very private and leafy. It was a lovely walk into Akaroa from the property. It was very relaxing just to sit on the patio and listen to birdsong. We appreciated the use of the dryer.

Other guests kept removing our laundry from the shared dryer before it was done.
