Bus: Take the No.5 bus from Kyoto Station, get off at Nanzen-ji Eikando. Walk for about a minute to reach the property. Train: The property is around a 15-minute walk from Keage Station of the subway Tozai Line. Car: The property is around a 15-minute drive from the Kyoto East Interchange of the Meishin expressway. The full amount of the reservation must be paid when checking in. Only 1 parking space is available. Towels or linen changing is not provided during your stay, but these services are available at extra costs. Smoking is not allowed inside, but there is a smoking space at the garden.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property is located in a residential area, and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise. Authentic Japanese residence, fully eqiped. 2 bathrooms and two seperate showers, one also with bath. Small garden, private house on a quiet street. Included full kitchen, large fridge, dining room and lounge. Several bikes for use in garage.

Very charming Japanese style house with kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, rooms for 8 people. The back yard is a plus and very nice. The house is clean. The location is close to supermarket, bus station at walking distance. The location of the house is about 20 minutes by bus to main areas of Kyoto. It’s not too far from Kyoto main attractions. The host is very courteous. He welcomed us the first day we arrived to show us around the house and explained the map, the location of the main attractions. The house is small but cozy and totally as expected as it is Japanese style house. We would be back at this place again if we come as a group. Very reasonable price. The house is like in the pictures.

"Absolutely lovely memories"

The house is absolutely fabulous. I travelled with my parents and it's our first time to visit Japan. Toru's house is so well maintained and gave us the experience how traditional Japanese house looks like . I'm very very happy with the booking choice and my parents are very happy too. Toru also provided us breakfast food and snacks. Very caring and we highly appreciated. I'd like to visit Kyoto again and if I do I'll book again:)))

"Perfect for family and group"

Location was great, near philosophers path and quiet residential area. It was perfect for 3 couples and kids to have 3 separate rooms and 2 bathrooms. The host kindly prepared welcome snacks and breakfast which was very helpful. Wish we could stay there longer.

Nearby restaurants are closed early around 20:30 but supermarket is open 24 hours.
