Bus: Take the No.5 bus from Kyoto Station, get off at Nanzen-ji Eikando. Walk for about a minute to reach the property. Train: The property is around a 15-minute walk from Keage Station of the subway Tozai Line. Car: The property is around a 15-minute drive from the Kyoto East Interchange of the Meishin expressway. The full amount of the reservation must be paid when checking in. Only 1 parking space is available. Towels or linen changing is not provided during your stay, but these services are available at extra costs. Smoking is not allowed inside, but there is a smoking space at the garden.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property is located in a residential area, and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise. It’s very nice and typical Japanese style home. Our famliy enjoyed 3 nights at this home. The host provide all essentials that we could think of.

It’s a bit pricy, but worth it.

Greeted upon arrival. Spoke good english. everything clean and tidy. cute traditional house great location , 2 min walk to bus stop, 15 min ride into city. decked out with all the amenities and was a nice touch to arrive to fresh food and condiments. Thankyou so much we thoughly enjoyed our stay we love Kyoto. slept well - family of 8

Couldn't want for anything more. Had great kitchen facilities, comfortable and warm living areas. Toru met us on arrival, spent time showing us around the house. Had bread, eggs, juice, water and much more to make our stay easy and comfortable. He spent time giving us directions and recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

"A very pleasant stay at this nice traditional Japanese house, with a great host!"

Convenient location, very clean traditional Japanese house that is well equipped with modern facilities, private parking, nice quiet neighbourhood. I would have given it perfect 10/10 if not for the steep staircase leading to the upper floor. Our host Toru San was very welcoming, met us on arrival at the house and patiently explained everything in the house. He even helped us unloaded our luggage and parked our car. He has also been most generous to have stocked up some snacks and breakfast foods, which was most helpful to us for a comfortable start the next morning.

The staircase leading to the upper floor is a little steep, may be an issue for the physically challenged. Not a problem for our group of four members.

Toru was so thoughtful and considerate of his guests. The snacks and items in the fridge were such a lovely surprise. It was also very nice to have Toru meet us at the premises and take us on a quick tour of the house. He is such a friendly and personable man.

Absolutely nothing. I liked everything about it!
