Host & Stay - Cabbell Towers

The flat was a good size, and the kitchen was well equipt, beds were comfy and it was very close to the station and shops.Heating was easy to use, bathroom was lovely, flat was clean.

The sofa and easy chairs although very good looking were tired, I imagine the owners pay a service charge (As the flat above had been sold on Rightmove, and listed a service charge) The carpets in the communal areas were in desperate need of replacement, or at the least a good vacuuming. The shower is in need of regrouting/sealing, or it will cause a problem for the downstairs neighbour.

I really liked the choice of furnishings. Also the location was excellent.

1. It was very difficult to unlock the door from inside, taking up to 3 minutes. 2. The washing machine wasn't working. 3. The towels were awful: old, thin, scratchy and a bit smelly. 4. Maintenance issues caused rain to come in through the ceiling and this led to some lights becoming inoperative. This particular issue was sorted same day.

Location & spacious

Entrance in poor state of repair, tiles & floor strips require maintenance, damp & cracks in the structure, door difficult to unlock from the inside, cobwebs in difficult to reach places although superficially clean ,

Location is great, just 5 mins walk from the beach and pier. The property is a good size and feels very spacious - kitchen and bathroom are lovely.

The towels have seen better days, thread bare and stained! The beds are very uncomfortable and the bedding like the towels is tired. The property has a musty smell and a lot of the walls have peeling paint which points to a previous or current issue with damp. The biggest issue is with the lock to the flat itself which you can open fine from the outside but takes 5 mins of wiggling and adjusting to unlock from the inside after locking it at night and we did at one point think we were locked in and would need to call someone out. I am also sure this should be a fire door rather than just an internal door you would have on your bedroom, lounge etc.

The apartment was awesome. We liked the furniture and the whole lay out. It was spotlessly clean and airy. The location was perfect. All in all we enjoyed staying here and will be back next year

2nd "bathroom" just had a basin and toilet (and Henri cleaner!) The apartment was not well serviced

Great location for town and beach. Very spacious and well equipped.

Could benefit from a little decorating and another radiator in the lounge/kitchen/diner.

Fantastic location, lovely apartment, very clean and well equipped.

The bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable, and Wi-Fi did not work in the living room.
