Karkloof Hideout

The Hideout is beautifully done and has a very cosy feel to it, surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. It allowed us to escape city life and have the most relaxing weekend away. The bed was so comfy and we loved the big windows that overlooked the stunning views. Peta was lovely and on hand to answer any questions when needed. I already miss the Hideout and everything it had to offer, we’ll definitely be back soon!

Quiet and cosey

I had the pleasure of staying at Karkloof Hideout this past December, and it was an absolute gem! Nestled in the most tranquil setting, it was exactly what I needed to unwind after a busy year. The hideout itself was incredibly cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. The attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home. One of my favorite parts of the experience was taking peaceful walks through the beautiful trails that surround the property. The scenery was breathtaking and gave me a sense of calm I hadn’t felt in a long time. Evenings were spent curled up by the fire, reading a good book and savoring a glass of gin – pure bliss! I only wish I could have stayed longer because I genuinely didn’t want to leave. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this little slice of paradise. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape to recharge and reconnect with nature, I highly recommend Karkloof Hideout.

The place is perfect and peaceful. Peta and her husband checked on us regularly, they welcome was warm and kind. The facilities were near by and we had everything we needed in the cabin.
