The location and place was spacious

All else is below expectation, especially the cleanliness (or the lack of it) of the bedding linens. Duvets have no top cover hence it is dirty and you can see stains on them. There is a thin sheet underneath the duvet to avoid your skin touching the bare duvet. Needless to say, it is very difficult and uncomfortable to lay very still and very careful at night so you don't accidentally touch the bare dirty duvet by accident. The place is also old. The kitchen cabinet doors are falling apart. The oven was not functioning. The property manager had a very snobbish attitude and unpleasant to deal with. At one stage, they insisted in coming into the property during our stay to check on the property because the landlord just happened to be in town hence it was convenient for them to check on the items needed repairs. And it doesn't matter if that is inconvenient to the guests. We pushed back hard on it but it was definitely a waste of our time and emotion having to deal with them while on vacation.

Huge long list of requirements, including putting the task of putting out other party's rubbish and recycling as we happened to stay the night before rubbish day.

It was a very roomy and well equipped house, close to the centre of Twizel. There are lovely sunny places at the rear of the property for sitting and relaxing.

Being on a main road there was quite a lot of traffic noise, including occasional big trucks and loud motorcycles, fortunately not much during the night as the main bedroom is at the front of the property.

A wonderful large house with separate entertaining areas. Excellent for a family or group of friends.
