West Garth Cottage

Comfortable accommodation in a quiet residential area, conveniently located just a stroll from town. Photos don't do it justice

Bare windows in the hall give a stark feeling and no privacy. Furnished on a budget, so don't expect luxury. Some of the furniture in the dining / sitting room is shabby. The entrance area/ parking is not pleasant although there is ample parking space.

Clean, comfortable, well presented with a homely feel.

The staircase window needs a blind for privacy. Most accommodation we have stayed in provides tea bags and coffee. The outside area could be made more appealing. The large doors to the left of the front door need sprucing up. The main bathroom small shower head fitting was cracked, making it unable to hold it in the best position for showering.

Very clean and tidy and near to everything

Thank you Sarah for a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was perfect in so many ways and had everything you need for a short or long stay, alone or with friends. Very comfortable and modern, the photos don't do it justice. The cottage is literally a 5 minute walk from the outskirts of the town centre, yet is situated in a very quiet part of the town. I can't rate the cottage highly enough and it was definately excellent value for money. I'll definately be booking it again. Cheers Sean

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Communication from our host Sarah was timely and gave us all the information we needed. Location was excellent - on a quiet road and only a short walk into the town. It was nice having a large garden to sit out in. This is a great base for exploring the area for a few days. Plenty of nice places to eat and drink in town.

Too many spiders!

Unbelievable front approach , dirty car park , decaying garage doors , windows not cleaned with dirt,cobwebs and mould . Hallway without privacy through windows , enter into dingy ,dark dismal lounge , faux leather dining chairs in disrepair , kitchen utensils limited ,broken ironing board , boring garden over covered by dark trees .Bedroom lacking drawers and duvet cover disgraceful ( not ironed and crumpled and creased ) bathroom with no shelving and dangerous sharp edges on metal tile trims ..overall an appalling accomodation!

Very nice place in a great location, very quiet enjoyed a good sleep, large garden, good parking, very cool building whilst hot outside, would stay again

There was a bit of dust lying around but this was probably from the outside trees and foliage with the windows open to keep cool, kettle needs replacing or descaling it was quite built up with limescale
