It was a pleasant stay at this house. Right in front of the most important places of Matera. Very nice. And it was so kind of the host that he was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us the private parking place.

Amazing location and views

Beautiful place in the heart of Sassi. It has magnificent terrace with a great view!

The apartment is great, but it was not very clean. Surfaces like the desk and bathroom counter, and the outdoor furniture had not been cleaned prior to our arrival.

Wonderful studio apartment in the Sassi, with amazing views from the private terrace. Clean, warm and well appointed. Great location. Good communication with the host Michele, who met us at the paid carparking building (about 350m / 7 min walk away) and walked us to the apartment. Note: there are a lot of steps down to the apartment which is typical if you want to stay in the sassi area of Matera. However, we could drive our car into the area when we departed (left early in the morning) so fortunately didn't have to walk back up the hill.

I wouldn’t list this facility as one with “parking” possibility. As for most of the properties in the Sassi the car park is at 10 minutes walk distance and loading and unloading with a small child wasn’t smooth.

Charming historic sassi in a lovely location and the host was very attentive and responsive to our needs. Fantastic romantic candlelit bathroom with enormous soaking tub. Good wifi.

It was a bit minimal in lighting and textiles. No rugs. No extra blankets. Definitely needed better lighting in the bathroom and bedroom.
