Rymmon Retreat

Very comfortable stay at Rymmon retreat. We were only there for one night and weather was very wet so probably didnt see place at its best. We were on a cycle trip so grateful to get warm and dry followed by a good nights sleep! We didn't meet our host Sara but we did communicate through site

Spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the surrounding views and overall serenity of the place. My niece and I chose this place to relax in the middle of a busy holiday. I hope to return again soon!

I didn’t like that I wasn’t able to stay longer

So glad we picked this accommodation on Orkney . It is rural , but not far from the historic sites , some small towns, and less than 20 miles from Stromness or Kirkwall . Beautiful views and a very well outfitted cottage with great sunsets. If we ever get back to Orkney we would stay here again !

Comfortable lounge area. Reasonable size kitchen. Wifi good. Great location with a view and birds. Parking by the lodge. Adjustable heating to suit requirements.

Although the lodge made the best of the space it had, the bedroom was a bit small and the en suite way too small. The shower wasn't designed for a larger person and it was difficult to get in and out of and close the door, whilst the over bath shower was difficult to get in and out of as the bath was deep and there were no grabs rails. The accommodation was adequate for 2 but 3 people would really struggle. There was nowhere to hang/put clothes whilst in the bath/shower. There was no basket to put washing in to take it out of the washer and carry to the dryer, located in a shed outside or clothes line. Plugs were difficult to access in the kitchen, being under units and there were no sockets near the table which is where you want to sit and plug in a laptop. The gas kettle was very annoying.

Location and view was great, easy check in/out. Had everything needed, would definitely recommend.

We liked everything, warm, comfortable, peaceful, well equipped, Sarah has thought of everything, we loved it.

It is perfectly located. The surroundings look stunning and the lodge is beautiful. Also Sarah was super responsive and friendly. She replied to all our questions super fast and helpful
