Relax in Kenmure

The location was good for exploring Dunedin and parking was easy even in a big car. The views from the property were brilliant being in an elevated position. Large living space with 4 bedrooms and provided plenty of room and also privacy for our group of 4. Lovely outside area to relax in.

The accommodation didn’t instill us with hope when our first impression was a wobbly handrail to get down the steps to the property then seeing the bedroom curtains all hanging off its rails in the first bedroom. We felt that the cleanliness was of a poor standard with cobwebs in many places and quite a grubby kitchen. We were left a used sponge/scourer to clean around. First job was to visit the supermarket for cleaning products to wipe down the cupboard fronts, fridge door and oven front. There was hair and debris left on the floor at the side of the sink in one bathroom. Attention to detail is needed.

We had 4 adults needing their own space, this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house allowed that for us. Great location to north, south and central Dunedin. Very comfortable beds and the complimentary continental breakfast was a bonus! We made good use of the laundry as well.

The whole house is lovely and convenient, set up for a family. There are 5 beds in the property so everyone in the family had their own space and comfortable bed to stretch out and relax. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you'd need to prepare meals. There's a convenient laundry and a lovely back garden to sit in. The views from the lounge are wonderful, it's really nice to sit in there in the morning with a nice coffee and just look at green Dunedin.

There was nothing that we found that could be improved.

Perfect for what we needed. Great location. Good communication with Andrea and Charlie. The two bathrooms came in handy. Everything you need in a kitchen is there.

The beds were a bit firm for our liking but that’s just a personal preference.

Great place to stay with everything you need. Location was good, only a short drive into town. Views were lovely.
