Location excellent you have to do Steep hill at least once 😉😚. If in car you can park at rear of property and I got my Toyota avensis estate in easily.

Nothing could of been better.

Location perfect, quaint old cottage, kind to leave muffins and milk, very comprehensive instructions.

Rugs and mats a trip hazard. Would have liked guest book to get ideas from others, would prefer dishwasher to washing machine, light in lounge not good for reading.

It’s a lovely characterful cosy cottage. The double bed was so comfortable. I slept so well. It’s ideally situated in close to the castle and cathedral in the city centre. The very useful on site parking. And Nicely furnished.

Just the pub next door on my final night only. Who ever it was, who was in there, possibly the landlord. Decided to wake the whole street up at 3.30 am with loud music. That only happened on the last night thank god!

The location was great

The property was comfy, clean and ideally located for historic Lincoln. Owners responded very quickly to any queries. Would definitely recommend this property.

Parking our Corsa was tight, but we were warned about this.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The location was brilliant right next to the castle with the Cathedral also a stones throw away. Our car was a bit too big for the driveway but there was loads of parking over the road. The owners gave us so much info before we arrived which was a real help.

The only thing I would say is that the pubs were very noisy but if a fan was supplied in the summer to keep you cool once you closed the windows you could hardly hear anything from outside. This isn’t a negative as we had a lovely time just a suggestion.

This cottage it is a bit like the Tardis open the door and there are constant surprise’s . Right in the heart of Bailgate it has every amenity a pub either side , an indian restaurant 50 metres away and restaurants and gardens all around. Every thought has been put into what is in the cottage and all our requirement were covered . Parking is available but I for ease parked in the carpark directly opposite which also contained restaurants and a dog walking field . We will definitely book this absolute gem again when visiting family in Lincoln
