LetAway - Park View House, Whitby

Close to Whitby via Pannet Park with lots of on-road parking.

The location was perfect and had the added bonus of being able to park. Located in a residential area but close to the town. The accommodation was very clean and had ample equipment for cooking etc.

Struggled to find the front door but not the owners fault as located on a pedestrian walkway with no numbered signs on posts or walls. A map may help! The back patio area could do with weeding and making more attractive as this is where you first enter to get the key. There was a large group of nettles among other weeds.

Good location. Parking outside. Clean. Comfortable beds.

The house is in a peaceful residential area but still very close to town etc

House was very clean and had plenty of room for all of us. Great location as did not need to use the car once we had arrived - town easily accessible on foot.

Not enough towels for all our family - made contact with Mitch and Daniel about this. The next morning a guy came round and we then had plenty so not a massive issue. Huge nettles in the backyard near the gate - we cut them back with scissors as we had 2 young children with us and did not want them running out and falling in them.

Comfortable accommodation with adequate facilities.

One small point. Only one lamp in living room which made the room dark. No spare sockets in living room for charging devices etc.

We liked how spacious and minimal it was, there was plenty of space for us to put all our bits. We liked that there were modern facilities - dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fan assisted oven etc. Loved the huge kitchen sink. It was clean and the towels and bedding smelt fresh and clean. We liked how close it was to Whitby town and a good walkable distance even with two young children (a 6 and 3 year old). And to have the museum and two good parks on our doorstep was fantastic. It felt like home from home, a nice quiet location and plenty of parking. We only had a short stay and we settled in right away. The hosts were very accommodating and let us check in earlier. Would definitely stay there again.
