Cosy 1-bedroom cottage next to Combe Lodge Venue

Blagdon is stunning and the property is close to everything you need - loved it!

Loved the area for exploring and walking Accommodation was an old dairy which made interesting accommodation. Hotel sheets and towels Being in the grounds of the main house Good local pub for both food and cider - plume of feathers

There was an unpleasant fusty smell in the bathroom The accommodation had not been cleaned well and I had to purchase and use cleaning products and cloths before being able to relax. This was a big factor in not being able to enjoy our holiday. Please see phots attached. Some area of maintenance required: broken bath plug, unsteady loo, lamp in lounge not working (I tried changing the bulb) shower screen needs replacing. Too many emails

The accommodation was excellent value for money - clean, spacious (with lovely outdoor space too) and in a great location for exploring Cheddar Gorge and the surrounding area.

Walking along the main road from the accommodation into the village of Blagdon was a little daunting as the traffic was busy at times but we did find a cut through foot path on the second day which took us round this which we'd recommend to others walking to the village.

The location of the property was excellent as we were attending a wedding at Combe lodge. Very well presented and comfortable a great space.

WiFi code should be with a general information sheet clearly visible,bottom doorolt sticking out, potential injury, lightbulb gone in living room, non slip bath mat essential, check chairs and table sitting room,cupboard in hallway needs mending, House name should be visible from road, no recycling facility, no cleaning utensils. left hand tap in bathroomvery loose, wash basin blocked on our arrival, now we cleared it. Garden needs a gate and boundary secured for Dog stay

The cottage was lovely and comfortable. Ideal situation for the wedding we were attending at Combe Lodge.

The people dealing with the booking, are very abrupt and on the edge of being rude. You have the facility to let them know what time you will be arriving. We asked to leave the car outside whilst we attended the wedding at 1pm. We were told no. But all correspondence regarding the booking, were one word replies and no explanation. Reading them come across abrupt and rude. Cottage very good, as long as you don't need to speak to anyone.

In an excellent location for the Wedding we attended at Coombe Lodge. Just a short walk along a path. It also has everything you would need, plenty of tea, coffee etc. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, a lovely little garden with seats and a washing line ! I'm sorry we were only there for 2 nights. The surrounding area of Blagdon is beautiful.

You can't actually see the Old Dairy House sign from the road as the front door is on the side of the cottage and Sat Nav just tells you that you've arrived.

Great location for wedding at Coombe Lodge. Very spacious and good kitchen facilities / living room and dining area.

Bathroom could do with some upgrading but still functional and good shower pressure. Slightly musky smell (I think due to being dog friendly) but dog friendly is a bonus for those with a dog

The cottage is very spacious and close to the Coombe Lodge Venue. It is comfortable and dog friendly. We would still recommend the venue despite the housekeeping issues.

The garden is insecure if you have a dog. There were some housekeeping issues;; Very small towels, dusty cupboards on the top of the wardrobe. Some of the utensils were not clean and the toilet needed a deep clean.
