Compact, quaint, well appointed, clean. Maldon is a very nice Town by todays standards still looks English. Local people very friendly and polite. Good local shops with local produce. A fairly relaxed town with good amenities covering all ages. The property is very well situated easy access to shops, good tap rooms with a choice of good restaurants and Cafes not just the usual chain stuff although there is a bit of that there too if one must. Some excellent walks and areas of interest. Ideal for a couple.

There is not much not to like. Because the property is so near the Town Centre and behind the main street it does not have a view, but that is not a problem if your out most of the day! Car parking could be an issue for some, but that is potentially a problem anywhere you go these days. As we came by public transport this was not a problem. Public Transport from Maldon was as good as you get anywhere these days and in our experience always on time.

High standard, good location for exploring and pubs and restaurants, there's an excellent Indian, the Maldon Spice, right opposite. Nice big shower - soft but comfy bed - snug sitting room

Narrow steep flights of stairs a bit difficult for my stiff knees in the morning Kitchen was freezing even tho the heating was on

Location was excellent and the facilities were good. The owner was really responsive and helpful.

If you have issues with stairs this may not be the property for you. I think 2 people both with large suitcases may struggle because there is not a lot of storage.

Right in the heart of town. With parking just a cross the road.

When you’re in bed and need to use the loo. The bedroom is on the top floor and the bathroom is on the ground floor and the building has 3 floors. But it’s not a big building so it’s not that’s bad.
