Central and walkable to all the main sites, square and close to restaurants and shops. 2 minute walk to Palombaro Lungo and a few minutes to the Duomo. Fantastic view from roof terrace over ancient town. Host very helpful. Easy to access by key lock. Good security. Stairs to first floor apartment. Beautifully furbished , very clean. Quiet at night. Comfortable bed. Reasonably priced carpark very nearby. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring Matera, we would love to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the terrace more.

Very centrally located and such a beautiful room! Vaulted airy stone ceilings and a great kitchen and large bathroom. Such a special place-an artists’ space. The terrace brought Matera to us- what a view!
