The Cottage in Chester, Sleeps 6 with FREE Parking

Excellent location and the house is very nice. It was just a short walk into Chester which was great. Comfy beds and loads of towels. Check in was easy process.

Although the house is nice, it looks tired and needs some TLC.On arrival, there was piles of rubbish and over flowing bin from previous guests which did get sorted once we alerted the owners but not a great first impression. The bathrooms need re-grouting and cleaning and there was a damp smell in the kitchen cupboards. It would be useful to have oven gloves, teapot and egg cups. An email was sent twice to request late checkout but we heard nothing back which was disappointing. Getting an email to decline the request would have been better than being ignored.

Beautiful house and such a good location - could walk into Chester in 10 minutes.

Location is excellent. Just a short walk into Chester meant we didn’t need taxis.

We really liked the property but there is a damp smell in the kitchen area / utility room.

The location was perfect the breakfast was a very nice touch and much appreciated I think more properties should offer this

Think a little more attention could be made to cleanliness in shower the seals were a bit mouldy and tiles re grouted and they were very comfy beds but no mattress protection or pillow protection we stripped our beds to help the cleaners and I noticed slight staining on the mattress and pillows

The location of the property was really good .

Damaged and chipped crockery left in cupboards. Kitchen door handle hanging off Dirty trays left in oven Stair rail unsafe Stains on cushions and placemats All this was reported to the company on the first and second day of our stay. Again I tried to contact after our return. As yet no response to our dissatisfaction with the standard of this property.

Beds were comfortable

Couch seating showing its age the parking is absolutely awful we got blocked in and my car was keyed only 2 other houses past the one we stayed in.
