The Cottage in Chester, Sleeps 6 with FREE Parking

Location was great to walk into the city, the city walls and to the racecourse, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, the beds were comfortable, the house was warm and had coffee machine, dishwasher with all cleaning products available plus tea, coffee, pods, cereals etc meant didn't have to bring in those bits and pieces. More than 1 bathroom makes a huge difference when with friends/group of adults.

We would prefer a pint of fresh milk, not UHT and there's a couple of things that need cleaning or replacing like the shower seal and sofa cushions but on the whole a really pleasant stay.

Lovely cottage in a great location for the centre of Chester. Free parking in the street outside a bonus . Well furnished, plenty of knives forks plates etc in the kitchen. Nice to have some milk etc in the fridge on arrival.

Even with the central heating on on a cold night it was chilly, mainly due I think to single glazing, but this may be due to planning rules. The bathroom and ensuite shower could both do with a facelift to the tiles and grouting, and the shower screen over the bath needs a new seal, not a good look. Despite this we would use this location again as overall we were impressed with the cottage. The lock on the front door was very stiff and took us a while to open when someone knocked on the door, we were concerned about this had there been an emergency .

Breakfast lovely, but no milk provided. Lovely location. Very comfortable. Value for money.

Parking - arrived on Sunday. It’s a cul de sac with cars both sides. Has to parrell park. Turned my car around the next day when neighbours at work. If not would have had to reverse all the way down the road.

Close proximity to local amenities and a short walk to central areas.

It felt like home from home with everything we needed including an excellent range of breakfast options along with butter, milk and orange juice. The special touches of flowers on the table and a Christmas tree were lovely. The house itself has made excellent use of space and we had a comfortable stay. It is very close to all amenities/shops/restaraunts etc x A great place to stay with friends or family. Thank you for making our stay in Chester wonderful Julie
