Great stay at this wonderful cosy cottage located minutes walk from the centre of Chesters restaurants, city walls and shops. The cottage had everything we needed for a short 3 night stay. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen (if you decide to cook, we didn't)!Very quiet location set within a pretty courtyard. Can't recommend Rod enough as a host, very helpful with plenty advice and provided all the information we needed regarding parking, restaurants etc. We parked the car up and because within 2 minutes you're in the centre it wasn't required. Had a trip to the zoo one day but got the bus which is every 15 mins from the bus station. I'd definitely return and would 100% recommend staying at Gamul Place.

Great location in quiet courtyard. Had most of what we needed. Easy directions from the owner.

Would have liked more range of toiletries as we are travelling quite a distance for quite a while. Also hard to watch the TV in its nook on an angle from both sofas.

We were going to the races and this property was in a perfect spot . It was in a quiet location just off the main road but close enough to get to some lovely restaurants and bars. It was really well presented with a home from home feel.
