Gamul Place - Quiet City Centre

Outstanding cottage, lovely and warm due to the excellent central heating, big comfy bed with fresh linen, spacious shower and bath with instant hot water. Every convenience and facility required, the furnishings were very good and the kitchen and lounge were a pleasure to stay in. This cottage was almost identical to the one I was brought up in, complete with the overhead drying maiden in the kitchen, so it brought back fond memories of my recently deceased Mum. A lovely little back yard and large communal garden area at the rear are brilliant for the summer, unfortunately it was too cold to spend much time out there but it's just another great feature to this lovely property. A final big thanks to Rod for his invaluable detailed information about the free local parking which saved us a fortune over the five days we were there. Would 100 per cent recommend Gamul Place cottage to anyone looking to stay in central Chester, right near to all the best restaurants and such.

I find it very homey & cozy. My son like it very much. Rod is excellent host. Reachable all the time.

Quite hard to find, especially after 5pm already dark.

The cottage was very comfortable and cozy we had a lovely weekend considering the weather was horrendous 😫 the host was on board with any query I had was was very happy 😊
