Best Room To Visit NYC-Subway Access

I really appreciated how well-prepared everything was in the accommodation. The bathroom and shower were cleaned daily, everything seemed very tidy, and the kitchen area was well-organized, with everyone having their own designated space in the fridge. Also, the communication with the host was prompt and regular and it was easy to enter the building and the room with a pre defined PIN code.

Unfortunately, there were a few issues. Firstly, the bed linen wasn’t as clean as I had hoped; I noticed some old, washed-out bloodstains on it. Another point was the lack of flexibility when it came to potentially shortening the stay, even though the communication with the host was prompt and regular. Lastly, my room was in the attic, and it got extremely hot. Unfortunately, the air conditioning and ceiling fan for me weren’t quite enough to keep the temperature at a comfortable level, making it a bit difficult to endure the heat.

There is mold, and heavily smells like mildew. the AC does not work. there are no streaming services like the listing said. even if the tv worked, the tv requires bluetooth headphones that are not provided. the AC only blew hot humid air even on full cooling and the room felt wet, like the floor was wet from humidity. The room was missing the fire alarm, and the owner tried to blame us for it missing. We couldnt even stay the entire night. we asked for a refund and were denied. the property owner is extremely rude and would not offer a refund.

Pathetic, the owner ask for 30$ hidden charges and if you dont provide that they will cancel your booking and no refund will be provided back to you. I was unaware about this and as soon as I landed from airport i found that my booking is cancelled and I have no place to stay and no refund

Rude, dishonest

The room was very comfortable and had air conditioning. The neighborhood is the very busy Ironbound area, but that means there are many excellent Portuguese and Brazilian restaurants nearby. I stayed there to go to Gotham FC across the river and it was about a 15 mi ute walk

The neighborhood is very busy and it's next to impossible to find parking on Saturday evening. Location was a bit difficult to find as it is down a driveway and around the back of people's houses.

The location near Newark Penn station was excellent. Shops and cafes were also nearby. Access was fairly easy after viewing the 'how to find the place' video. Nice to have the shared kitchen with fridge, microwave and basic cutlery and crockery.

The area is a bit sketchy with some street people around. Our basement room was tiny and the TV had no signal so having to have Bluetooth earphones was irrelevant. The shared bathroom was a bit basic. Our second night was terrible due to people in the upper rooms talking loudly, playing music and endlessly moving the furniture around!

Poor customer service Air con held by tapes fell off the wibdow and the host placed the blame on me, refuaing to refund my deposit fee. Poor customer service in giving directions to the room in the first day Young people blasting loud music while smoking right outside the house
