The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and we appreciated the walk-in shower.

The sofa in the living room were extremely uncomfortable. They were very low to the ground hard to get in and out of for people who are older.

It was such a nice place to stay with an interesting history. It was roomy and had a good sized sitting area for our group of 4. We enjoyed the fireplace too. The beds were comfortable and it was only a short walk of about 15 minutes into town. Our host, Rita was very responsive and handled any issues straight away. She also had great suggestions for local eateries. We tried Guys Bar and Snug and would definitely recommend it. It was a good base for the Sky Road, Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey.

Would have been nice just to have a bit of milk in the fridge for a cuppa.
