Quirky Cottage - Dogs Welcome

Everything that we needed as we were seeing family near by. Clean, well equipped and cosy.

Only tiny little thing was the creaking staircase but it is an old cottage and you have to accept that can’t be helped.

Location perfect

Stairs was extremely noisy and toilet very far from the bedrooms

A beautiful cottage, we had a wonderful weekend away, caught the bus to Bath had a lovely meal in one of the local pubs. Will definitely recommend.

Possibly an extra dining chair but we just used one from upstairs. Everything was great.

Super clean, very well appointed accommodation. Nice and warm with plenty of hot water on demand.

It was very clean, convenient for staying in Corsham and we had the facilities we needed for four adults who were just sleeping at the cottage.

We couldn't get the heating to work - either there was a problem or instructions were needed for the thermostat; we programmed it but still it insisted its target temperature was 14.5 degrees. Very much not warm enough for a cool autumn evening. (As we were leaving the next day we didn't call owners but settled for room heater.) The cottage wasn't exactly cosy generally - no books or games and hardly any pictures or soft furnishings.

Parking good. Location good. Very clean.

Disapointed there was a lack of equipment/ glasses in kitchen. One bathroom, downstairs.. if anyone showering couldnt use the only other hot water tap in the kitchen or it cut off the hot water in bathroom. Couple of the beds needs new matresses. Tricky, creaky steep staircase that needs carpeting or treatment. Bathroom tiles on the floor held stagnant water. No welcome book and in particular no signage about which part of the garden we were entitled to use. Neighbours obviously getting very upset having to contantly explain this to visitors. No recycling facilities.
