Our contact person on site and during our stay in Madeira was Mr. Tiago Teixeira. He welcomed us warmly and handed over the apartment to us. On our departure day, Franziska left behind her valuable wireless earbuds. In response to a WhatsApp request, Tiago Teixeira confirmed that he had found the earbuds and documented this with a photo. Franziska asked Tiago Teixeira to send the earbuds to her in Switzerland. Franziska would, of course, fully cover the delivery and shipping costs. Mr. Tiago Teixeira has never returned the earbuds. Unfortunately, he ignores Franziska's further requests. This is unacceptable for a host.

The location and amenities were good even if they are on the exterior terrace. To be mentioned that both bathrooms have acces from the livingroom not from the bedrooms. The host was responsive, gave us infos about madeira and we were able to check out anytime we want.

The room could benefit from better ventilation or a dehumidifier to improve air quality especially at night. If you’re sensitive to humidity, it might not be the best for you. The couches are very musty and bad smelling because of this.

Apartment is down 2 flights of stairs accessable from the garage only.There is no A/C or heating it was cold for us but a small heater was provided.If you got a car get a small one as is tricky to get into the garage as you share the space with the owners.but otherwise was ok somtimes we just left it down the street.

Our stay has been really good! Tiago has been taking care of the stay even before our arrival (he made sure everything will go a straight way, also giving tipps for maderia and things to discover). The apartment was very clean, and it had everything that was needed. The view from the outside kitchen is very nice, with the mountains to the left and the sea to the right. Also, we were flexible regarding the checkout time. In our case, it was okay to leave a bit later than 11 am. I'm very confident that we would have gotten support if we needed it during our stay. Much recommended!
