Barreiros House

The apartment was spacious, clean and with all the amenities we needed for a 3 week holiday. The terrace and outside kitchen area were bigger than we expected and the view from the terrace is one that we didn't tire of enjoying. We took advantage of some of the vegetables from the garden which is a really nice touch. The agents were excellent. The arrangements for arrival and departure were faultless. The welcome pack and the gift on departure were really appreciated and the messages from Tiago throughout the stay to offer advice on a range of matters and to check that everything was good were another nice touch. Thanks for that. Some nice restaurants and a good bakery are very close by and although it's a good walk up the hill from the centre we thought the location was excellent. We would have no hesitation in going back to the same address.

The beds are a little hard. They weren't uncomfortable but firmer than we are used to.

The accommodation is very comfortable and equipped with everything needed and more. There is a beautiful terrace with the view on Funchal and the sea. We would recommend this place for everyone wanting to stay in Funchal with no hesitation!
