Beautiful House Located Near Kielder Reservoir

All the basics were perfect, location/beds/hot water, add on top everything else and this made for a 1st class break!

Minor things but more personal preference like stools in the kitchen and sharper kitchen knives, but that is being Picky.

This was self catering - no meals provided in booking The room sizes were generous, number of bathrooms perfect, kitchen exceeded expectations. Beds very comfortable, easy house to heat. Communication with host was easy, comfortable, hugely informative and friendly. Would recommend for group and family stays.

These are a couple of things we found worth comment for our group which may not affect others - Headroom in both attic rooms gave reason to be more aware when getting out of bed - especially night-time. I suspect these rooms are perfect for children. The stepping arrangement between rooms was not not clearly highlighted (some of difference of colour may help). The shared adjoining property internal doors were a surprise - awareness of these would have been a reassurance, some in the group were uneasy with this. A couple of bar stools at the kitchen island would be lovely.

Loved everything. Gorgeous very spacious house, excellent location, lots of privacy. Great communication and thoughtful little details such as board games, kitchen utencils etc.

Could have done with black out curtains as it was pretty bright in the morning. Not a big issue as we've had more of the daylight to enjoy 😊

Great space for family's , location was good for days out.

The entrance way had black mold , one of the steps leading up to the front door was not secure and the bath water came out yellow.

Perfect for families with pets . Very clean and exceeded expectations with house hold everyday appliances/crockery/glasses etc.. Home from home feel.

The size and space

Spacious, comfortable and excellent value for money. Easy driving distance to all local facilities and places of interest.

Location, size, TVs, decor, little gifts on arrival were a lovely touch! Also info provided before hand very helpful.

Dishwasher didn’t work very well, no whisk in the kitchen (otherwise very well equipped!), blinds in the bedrooms don’t keep out enough light, everywhere needs a fresh coat of paint now, looking a bit tatty. Shower pressure weak.
