Beautiful House Located Near Kielder Reservoir

House was lovely. Modern interior. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Ample parking. Very convenient location for Kielder water.

House is semi detached with another holiday home attached to it. This wasn't made clear in the description and due to the outdated outside photos in the description it looks like the property stands alone, so there was disappointment when we arrived. We were hoping for solitude and no neighbours but unfortunately it wasn't to be. Also didn't like the fact the dirty laundry from the previous guests was left in bags in the porch for the duration of the stay. I understand this is due to when the laundry company pick them up but its not ideal to have them in the porch. Maybe a container or small bike shelter outside for them to be stored in would be better. I had arranged with the owner an early arrival time of 3pm and.this was confirmed however when we arrived the cleaners were still there and unaware that we were to arrive by 3pm they had been told 4pm. I think this probably explains.why the dishwasher wasn't empty and why I found a sock down between the cushions of the sofa in the lounge. (It's now on top of the travel cot behind the highchair in the small hallway) . Also disappointed that in the guest book reviews many people mentioned the bottle of complimentary prosecco, but there wasn't one there for our visit. I wouldn't stay again but that is purely down.to the fact it is an attached property.

Property was not properly cleaned. There was dog hair everywhere Garden was not as we expected, no where to properly relax outside - right by the road, no greenery

Very spacious house. Sociable and well equipped kitchen, large dining table and very relaxed lounge area. The showers were great and the beds were really comfortable. Quiet location with really easy access to Kielder Water. Excellent communication with the hosts.

great location for Kielder Woods and the Christmas experience. Loved that it was decorated for Christmas, such a lovely homely feel. Nice warm property.

Stayed here for Christmas as a party of 8. The place was beautifully decorated and the furniture was very comfortable. Loved the openness of the lounge diner, made it very sociable.

The towels had a very obvious smell of smoke. None of the 8 of us smoked and so it was quite distinctive to everyone. None of the bathrooms had any hand soap in the dispenser which was quite unhygienic. We stayed here for 3 nights and sadly the 2 dishwasher tablets were not enough to clean all our dishes and the fairy liquid had been all used up by previous guests so we were a little bit stuck. Last thing, not enough toilet paper either. I will praise the owners though because all this was rectified once brought to their attention but for future bookings these things would be much appreciated.

5* plus of luxury interior design beautiful and everything you could want to enjoy your time here. Beds were so comfortable and house was really warm lovely en suites and bathroom there was 7 of us and we all were very impressed with the excellent standard of this home
