Lincoln lets 23

Splendid house and area pretty close to the City centre. Comfy lounge, decent size kitchen and lovely bathroom. Hassle free angry to property and had no issues at all. We had nice weather and sat in the garden area during the evening after a day out. Would highly recommend. A short Uber to the centre was about 6 quid, well worth it. My Lad is in the Navy in Norfolk so joined up with us and he loved it too along with the Lincoln v Wigan football game.

The place was like a second home Lisa was so accommodating even making sure we had milk and a guest book which included local takeaways hospital vets etc and what bin was for what. She covered everything I loved my stay the beds were so bloody comfy too. Location was 13 minutes walk into town

Very steep stairs and lots of internal steps upstairs. Could be tricky for children/older people etc until they are familiar. Keysafe is very high up on the wall

Great to have a whole house, separate rooms for all & a communal area to chill out together in. Also really good to have shampoo, conditioner & shower gel in the bathroom.

The stairs were rather steep.

It was spacious, airy, clean and comfortable and there was instant hot water and plenty of it. The beds were particularly comfortable. Also liked that it was only a 20 min walk into the centre of Lincoln.

The stairs!! They are incredibly steep and narrow and I found it quite unnerving every time I had to go up or down them. Our daughter did actually fall down them on the first evening, but luckily went down on her bottom and only slightly bruised her arm. Perhaps a second handrail may be a help. The only other niggle would be that despite the incredibly comfortable beds, the sofas in the lounge are incredibly uncomfortable. To be fair to the host she did say she is aware of this, so hopefully this will be improved in the coming months. The tv is a little small, but may be cos we're used to a much bigger one at home! Parking is only on the street, so can't guarantee you will get a space, especially on match days, as we discovered! It's almost right next to the football ground, so be mindful of this. Might be worth checking to see if Lincoln are playing on your day of arrival, and what time kick off is! Aside from this, it is a very reasonable place to stay and was plenty big enough for the 4 of us, (2 adults & 2 kids).

Bed was a bit hard

Host really engaging from the very beginning of the booking, continuing through to arrival and and stay. Property was lovely, well decorated and containing good amenities for a family stay. Location was perfect in terms of travelling with our dog, having a large open common literally metres away, enabling a brisk morning walk for him and me!. Given the property's location to a major road junction into the city, there was no noticeable traffic noise. To quote my wife and children "this is better than our house". A fantastic family stay, to celebrate with my son on his 21st Birthday, helped in no small part to fantastic hassle free accommodation, a short 5 minute and inexpensive Taxi(Uber) journey into the heart of Lincoln; a fantastic city with both historical and modern attractions, including great restaurants, pubs, with several games based locations; converted my brood to shuffleboard. Would recommend this property as a base location to explore the City of Lincoln and wider county, containing a rich variety of historical and cultural attractions and activities.
