The lodge was spacious and beautiful. It was very comfortable and the views across the area were very nice.

The WiFi was very spotty and slow.

Beautiful location, very peaceful. Lots of wildlife on the pond. The lodge was very comfortable with plenty of room for 4 adults & a child. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed to cook your own food. Plenty of take aways/ restaurants in the local town (Matlock) approx 10 mins drive. If you want peace & quiet, get away from it all, this is your ideal place

The check in time was quite late, 4pm the day is almost gone & check out time 10am is quite early. Paying £200 per night would expect a 2pm check in & 12pm check out to make the most of the time there. The TV signal was very sporadic, couldn't get enough signal to listen to music. Perhaps a dish is needed rather than the aerial system(?)

The lodge was spacious and comfortable with lovely views. Good bathrooms. Wam showers.

Parking space was a little distance away from house. This wouldn't stop me from booking again

lovely and spacious with nice views. lots of room in the bedroom and a nice big walk in shower. comfy furniture. loads of storage spaces and cupboards in the bedrooms, lovely views out of all sides of the property.

Some of the cooking utensils could be improved upon/ updated and more items added. The kitchen knives needed sharpening. There were no glass prosecco/champagne flutes - only plastic. The couch cushions were very flat and needed replacing. These are only minor things but in a place for this standard and cost these are the little things that would make it a perfect 10, also perhaps some milk and a loaf of bread as a welcome pack would have been an added bonus.
