PERGOLA Cottage

This is a very good property on the outskirts of Melrose, with a pleasant riverside walk to the town centre. Well equipped, clean and comfortable.

The cottage is right by a road and passing traffic is quite close and so a little noisy at times

The stairs in the property -there's no bannister rail and they turn and there's a warning because of low ceiling. Property is not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Lovely cottage and great location for us seeing friends. Easy walks to Melrose and greet bar 2 mins away. Cottages very well presented and everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

Excellent property, although it is on the road it was very quiet we were not disturbed at all with any road noise. Had absolutely everything we needed and more ! Very good quality dishes, glasses etc. spacious kitchen with high spec appliances. Obviously cottage has been very well looked after and done very nicely. Lounge was very comfortable and great size for us both of us. Great sized double room and superb bedding, very comfortable. Hair drier in bedroom which was very handy, plenty wardrobe space. Bathroom was ok for us as are used to cottage sizes and spotlessly clean. Lovely walk into Melrose. All in we had a brilliant stay and will definitely return.

The property was so clean / modern just perfect

There was nothing to not like. The only thing which can’t do anything about is the road outside is busy & occasional can be heard inside the house. But this is an observation not a complaint. If I was to recommend anything would be the addition of blackout blinds in the bedrooms. As soon as the sun rises it breaks through the gaps in the curtains waking some of us who are light sensitive up.
