Whitby Sea View Cottage Prime Historic Old Town Location

Very clean, good location to visit things

Parking was very disappointing. We tried to contact the necessary person for assistance, but they were on holiday. We had to spend nearly £10 on parking till we contacted booking.com. The beds were very uncomfortable. As a family, we feel £205 (with 15% discount) is too much for this property.

Great location with fantastic views.

Only negative from the entire stay was that there was no WiFi available at the property.

Fantastic location, everything in walking distance away. Loved that parking was included so we could unpack, park up and forget about the car for a few days. Kitchenette had everything we needed and great view.

No wifi (which is mentioned in the listing) - not a problem for us as we appreciated switching off for a few days - but something to be aware of. Not so much for phones etc. but would be useful in the evening for the TV.

Great location, quiet even though it was central. Lovely view over the harbour. Comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Parking permit worked fine. Good communication with Alan.

No WiFi connection

Very close to the Magpie Restaurant, several pubs and 10 minutes, cross the bridge and your heading up the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. Best was - no parking charges from November to 1st. of March.

Nothing all was as described, well equiped kitchen, excellent cental heating and great shower. Amazing view of the sunrise from front windows.

In the centre of town fantastic views of the Abbey and harbour, everything you needed in the accommodation.

Wonderful central location, easy to get around the town from there. Beds very comfy, great kitchen facilities, lovely clean bathroom. Wonderful views from the living room and bedrooms. Easy to access all the things we wanted to see and numerous places to eat within a few minutes walk.

Only draw back is the parking. Managed to get space directly behind property but still had to haul cases up and down steps. But happy to take this compromise for the location. Once parked up, with voucher provided, could leave car there for four days and even after checking out so could still enjoy our final day in the town before leaving.
