Large house on the edge of the Brecon Beacons

Lots of room. Very clean. Quiet. Lots of kitchen equipment. Shops nearby. Very well thought out. Nice touches like coffee machine and dishwasher.

Minor things... Some of us would have liked extra pillows. The sheet on our bed seemed too small for the bed and kept popping off. Could do with a bigger sofa to fit all of us on to watch a film, but plenty of other chairs to bring in to sit on. Maybe a big corner suite would fit more? Apart from that it was great. The best place we have rented in Abergavenny area as a family so far. Would recommend and would use again.

Lovely bathrooms, lots of space, great location. This could be such a lovely property to stay if more attention and care was taken in to cleaning it.

I hate leaving a negative review. However The garden on arrival is extremely overgrown and unkempt and has junk thrown in it, which gave an awful first impression, along with a very dirty front door. The kitchen bin was filthy as was the oven and we found baking trays left in the oven that were thick full of solid white fat that we had to wash in order to use them, and there were random items of food left in all the cupboards from previous guests, along with rabdom leftover toiletries left in the bathrooms. The rug in the living room is filthy and stained.only 4 mugs for a house that sleeps 10 people. The blinds didn't work so we were unable to open them and there were no instructions left to show you how to use the oven and the TV so everything was much a guessing game. The upstairs was much cleaner than downstairs but even so the back of the bathroom doors were heavily stained Such a shame as it could be such a lovely property, it didn't ruin our 2 night stay but we wouldn't have stayed there for a long holiday.

I went with my family of 7 and the property was very spacious and clean. The kids loved the Bluetooth mirrors :). Plenty of parking outside and good communication throughout to ensure everything ran smoothly.

Honestly speaking it was better than we expected. I can’t think of anything negative about it.

Bathrooms reasonably clean & beds reasonably comfortable

Cleanliness generally very poor, grass could have been cut & rubbish collected from front & back garden. Decking leading from living room unsafe so was not able to use. We couldn’t open the doors either leading onto the decking & the window ledge in front of the doors very loose.
