Large house on the edge of the Brecon Beacons

Newly renovated house, good location, good parking. Would highly recommend.

No mention of the lack of a door on the top floor bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped but could do with more larger plates.

Bedrooms were large and perfect for group of friends for a weekend away. Good location close to shops/cafes for amenities & equal distance to Swansea / Cardiff for exploring.

Loft bedroom layout could be improved but nothing major! More seating in the living room to accommodate for the maximum amount of guests staying.

I chose this house as I was travelling with a group of friends and it had 5 bedrooms. I was aware that there was only 1 bathroom, however Dave contacted me before we arrived to say they had added 2 ensuite bathrooms, which was great news. The whole house appeared to be newly fitted out and it was all done to a very high standard. It was all very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was plenty of communication before our arrival including details of how to access the door key. I didn't meet Dave, but he was available via email. We did have a problem with a beeping smoke alarm, but that was promptly sorted by Dave who arranged for an electrician to visit.

If I was to have one gripe, it would be about the number of bathrooms. Even with the 2 new ensuites, it left 3 bedrooms, so potentially 6 people, sharing the main bathroom, which also had the only other toilet.

spacious, very clean, all systems in full working order (heating, showers, TV, kitchen appliances etc), accessible parking, nice extras we didn’t expect (coffee pods, tea, loo rolls, bluetooth mirrors). furniture & bedding was new & comfortable, nice towels.

the decking & garden require attention as neglected but could be lovely. a few more waste paper bins, a few kitchen drawers & cupboards had handles missing/opening mechanism not working. no large bowls for communal eating. hard to control heating as it seemed to be preset & reverted to this setting (it was an unusually hot weekend!) a full length mirror in one of the rooms would be nice. stair gate for kids.

Really nice big house,clean and modern.cosy and warm once heating was on a while.loved the pillows and duvet wanted to stay in the bed it was so comfy.perfect.would definitely return 😊

It was lovely and clean on arrival and after a technical problem I had good communication with the hosts. We were having problems with the TV and they were very quick to answer me and help whenever needed. The beds were sooooo comfy. Plenty of plates, glasses and mugs etc.

It was a bit too far out the way for us, not enough restaurants etc within walking distance. There was no toilet roll or washing up liquid for our arrival, even 1 roll of would have been great. There was a ripped bin outside the back door with cigarette buts all over the floor.

I didn't like the fact the boiler was broken and i had to book somewhere else to stay. I would like a refund
