The view out across the beach from the main bedroom is amazing. Perfectly placed chairs at the window to sit and watch the world go by all day.

Slightly cold downstairs compared to the upstairs. So sitting watching the TV on a cold February night was a touch cold .

Lots of clutter. No clock anywhere. Needs some TLC

The location was exactly as I hoped for. We go every year in a Caravan to Beadnell Bay Camping and Caravan Club site which is 10 minutes walk from this house. But my Circumstances have changed so booked this house instead. We know the area well. This house is perfectly located for the Beach, and the Bay beach. There are 2 Pubs up the Road, a shop, a Cafe which does lovely food and turns into a restaurant at night, so you have 3 restaurant choices in 5-10 minutes walk. You can also walk to Seahouses if your up for it otherwise its a 5 minute drive. The harbour beach is beautiful. This house was very comfortable. All our Camping Friends loved it too and kept turning up for drinks and takeout!! The room with the Seaview is lovely and the views and sunsets can be seen from your bed or the Chairs provided, there is also en-suite. The room without Seaview also has a double bed and has a lovely feeling to it and is very spacious. There is also a bathroom which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely book next year if I can get in!!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. But Booking.com did mess up the booking a little. I booked a 2 bedroom house, they took my money then confirmed a 1 bed Annex? I phoned the property owner and they said the Annex is really nice, so I accepted it. Was with my Daughter. When we got there someone had just gone into the Annex. I phoned the property number and spoke to someone different who seemed confused. I told him I thought I had booked the 2 bed house but Booking.com confused me. He rang straight back and said the house is what we had booked, so I was really pleased. The owner was very helpful and quick to sort it. Never got back to Booking.com about this because I didn't know how to.

House was lovely. Everything you could need and with a fab big garden. Stunning views out on to the beach and the house was spotless.

Don’t want to complain but the grill only worked on one half and didn’t have a proper grill pan

Very homely , well equipped and comfortable, Location was perfect- right opposite beach /sea . Loved watching tide go in and out / rocks / pools good for bird watching , walking , sightseeing / photography or art . Enough resources in village , good pub / small shop and easy access other coastal towns . Very relaxing - just a long weekend this time but would be great longer break for families . House was well equipped .

The initial approach via front porch - is tired looking and the downstairs area needs all the white paintwork on skirting boards / frames redoing as it’s tatty . The flooring is all stripped wooden) . Maybe a rug ir two would help soften the feel downstairs living areas But having said that it was very clean in the house and upstairs is fresher decor . I could live in the front bedroom the views are truly spectacular. I would have liked a coffee machine - but that’s just a small thing . Lots of other advantages staying here so near sea and on coast paths . The lived in feel is probably an advantage for relaxing if you’ve had a day on the beach with sandy children or hiking as it doesn’t feel too pristine .

the heat exchange on the rear patio smelt awful when it was in use, couldn’t stay out on the decking when it was on, needs the pipe extending much higher
