The location overlooking the sea was wonderful and very well situated near the beach and restaurants

The location is fantastic, with the sea just across the road and access down some steps on to a mainly pebble and rock beach. It is also just a few hundred yards walk down to the harbour or to the long sandy beach. There is a shop, 2 cafe's, a pub serving food, a hotel restaurant and a fish and chip van (summer only?) within an easy walk. The front bedroom has a great view of the sea, and sunrise over the sea. The house is very comfortable and relaxed, with a nice kitchen, dining room, lounge and downstairs loo on the ground floor, then an ensuite front double bedroom (walk-in shower) and a back double bedroom with another bathroom (not en-suite, shower over bath) on the 1st floor. The heating came on early evening, and kept it toasty warm for us. The kitchen is well supplied with cutlery, mugs, plates and bowls to eat out of. Small dishwasher and washing machine with washing tablets provided. Two of us had a very lovely, comfortable 4 nights here, with a dog, who enjoyed the garden and an early morning walk on the beach across the road.

We did mind that there wasn't a cafetiere, or even a jug, to make coffee in - we had to make our 'real' coffee in a saucepan! Also no teapot. I always use a teapot. No washing up liquid - which might explain why a few of the plates in the cupboard weren't very clean. The 'sharp' kitchen knives provided were more on the scale of butcher's than kitchen knives - if you want to prepare veg etc, bring your own knife! The only serving bowl is enormous - nothing to serve a smaller salad in. There are many things needing repair or missing - such as no mirror in the 'family' bathroom, the seal on the bottom of the shower panel over the bath is missing, the bathroom tap wouldn't turn off fully. But to be honest, these things really didn't bother us at all, because it is cosy, relaxed and comfortable - and we loved the location. Would book again without hesitation - though would take a coffee maker and a small kitchen knife!

Disgusting garden, rubbish filled, dangerous. Rats!! 3rd bedroom filled with crap...clothes, broken furniture.. mould ceiling. No heating despite having to ring owners.

The location was excellent.

The accommodation seemed very tired and dated. Usual standard facilities weren't in place: no toilet roll, tap dripping, bad lighting in shower room. It could have done with a big clean.

The location of this place is perfect! The sea is just across the road and the beach is a 5 minute walk down the block. The place itself was basic, but very clean and cozy. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely come back. The view from the bedroom was wonderful. There were a couple of comfy chairs to sit in and enjoy a coffee while taking in the sea view.

Old tired decor and facilities require maintenance. Mold in bathroom, dirty old bed bases. Lots of clutter and the garden is in a terrible state. Contacted owners but no response.

The location was brilliant.

Needs some TLC. The outside of the property both front and back is rather shabby and needs repairs and smartening up. The downstairs of the property also needs updating . Given the rental fee I would expect the property yo be emasculate.
