Location excellent and property clean too

Location amazing, view stunning, lovely village. Best thing is the 2 chairs in the front bedroom as sitting there looking at the view was breathtaking

All floor boards downstairs the ones in the dinning room are very poor and not really good if you were to visit with children. Would have been nice to receive a welcome pack, not everyone uses a dishwasher, would have been nice to have washing up liquid. Also the cleaners are not really very good, dust, don’t think bedroom carpets had been hoovered.

Great location and private garden.

lovely location. house a bit tired but suited us as we wanted something we could relax in, house has so much potential. Double bed in front bedroom very comfortable. Good shower. Plenty of crockery & kitchenware, although we didn’t cook in the property. 5 minute walk to large flat beach with hood sand, turn right as you leave the property; Beadnell bay beach is amazing, lovely old time charm. There was plenty of towels, dishcloth, tea towels provided. Location - there is a well stocked independent store 10 minutes walk along the front; turn left as you leave the house, but it has old school opening hours! seahouses 10 minute drive, plenty of places to eat and grocery shops there.

only has blinds up at the windows, these let in a lot of light, so difficult for he to sleep after dawn, take eye mask if like me you need a dark room to sleep well. Good sized garden, looks a bit dangerous in areas, again loads of potential to renovate. it’s a bit noisy as there are bare floorboards downstairs, I would take slippers in colder months. was a bit warm for me and I could find where to adjust the thermostat to turn down the temperature, but better than being too cold I suppose.

The property was clean & cosey and looked like it had recently been painted in the inside. The view from the master bedroom is fantastic

The kitchen dishes & utensils are badly needing replaced. The grill in the cooker didn't work (preferred option to cook breakfast) and there was no frying pan. The TV remote didn't work. There was a gap of 2" at the bottom of the inside front door, looked like carpet had been lifted and door not sorted/replaced. The grass in the back garden hadn't been cut & the property has no kerb appeal.

no matching glasses or knives and forks. Doors to bedrooms didn’t shut properly.

The view was spectacular the house was very clean and warm perfect for our parents. The bay which is only 5 min away, a walkers / dogs dream with a fantastic cafe / restaurant right on the doorstep.

Cooker fine but a little hard to work out as dials worn.
