Gardeners Cottage

The property was well furnished and comfortable, just right for a few days.

We didn’t like that it was in the middle of a noisy building site where the main hotel isn’t finished and is only 50 yards away, so expect noise from 7am until 5pm.

Location and comfort. first class pet friendly. Very clean and cozy. Fully equipped and very clean.

There was an awful lot of building work on Raithwaite hotel and access was tight to cottage. Lot of noise due to construction from 7.30am. I think there should have been a slight reduction in price due to the noise and inconvenience. Non slip bath and shower mats are needed to prevent falls Rat boxes need to be located around properties. Sadly saw a rat just outside French doors.

Beautiful cottage, immaculately presented. It felt like home from home & we especially liked the Nespresso coffee machine with capsules provided. The owners have obviously taken time & care to present Gardeners Cottage to the highest standard.

The access was quite tricky at times due to the builders wagons & vans for the renovations around Raithwaite Hall. If we had been in a larger car it would have loved quite difficult around the narrow corners.

Duvet was sooo warm ….no alternative
