Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Lovely welcome pack too

There was a leak in the shower. I emailed Stays York and they didn’t reply until the Thursday (the day before our final day).

Very clean, very high spec and exceptionally dog friendly

The TV in the lounge wasn’t working properly. The ceiling at top of stairs was low, husband kept bumping head - perhaps a warning sign somewhere.

The light over the dining table .. too low; The lack of light in the smallest bedroom, esp over the dressing table; Lack of adequate extraction in the en suites TV - freesat wasn’t working, batteries not checked

The accommodation was excellent with stylish fittings and furniture and spotless The welcome pack was an additional pleasure Gardeners Cottage is in a lovely position All communications regarding directions and access were faultless We will definitely book this cottage again as we had a most enjoyable stay and would highly recommend

TV in Master Bedroom not working ... not an issue for us but may be a problem for some
