Historic converted byre in courtyard of 16C house

nice selection of breakfast cereal. On arrival our host Jen had left a beautiful selection of scones and home-made cake. We also enjoyed a complementary bottle of wine while sitting in the courtyard. The standard of the linen, towels and furnishings was very high as was Jen's touch for interior decor.

We were happy with all the property had to offer.

Absolute bliss. Complete peace and quiet. The Byre was lovely. The gardens were beautiful and the hosts were so welcoming. The homemade cake was divine. Cannot wait to return.

Beautiful property . So cosy . Everything you need is there . Spotlessly clean . The hosts were so friendly and encouraged us to view their gardens which were amazing . Wouid deffo recommend this gorgeous little place . Quite remote but that’s what we like . All in all a fab place to stay

There’s nothing to dislike

Everything. The converted barn was the best accommodation among many over 4 weeks in the UK. Richard and Jan were fabulous hosts and the accommodation had a beautiful comfy bed with two separate seating areas. Could have stayed forever.

Leaving. But we prepared to cook or have your provisions. This barn conversion is well equipped in every way. The location has restaurants and excellent pubs nearby.

Lovely comfortable accomodation, with real character and charm. Warm welcome from host, Richard plus homemade scones provided on arrival - kind touch. Beautiful garden and grounds openly shared with us too.

The property is well maintained, clean and well designed. Excellent facilities, appliances and kitchen equipment. Great surroundings, spacious, giving wonderful countryside feel.
