Cosy cottage with everything you need, like home to home.

Everything was great. Clean, tidy, cosy.

We loved the cottage and surrounding area.

Cottage had everything we needed. Quiet location outside of town, but only a short drive to shops, fuel station etc. Spacious enough for two of us and two dogs. Great shower, which is always a bonus! Forgot my dogs water bowl, but there were bowls available thankfully. Parking available at side of house, it's up a lane but we managed fine with a long wheel base van.

Not a dislike as such, just for info, steps out back get slippy after rain.

A delightful cottage with a wonderful view of the hills of the western Lake District. It felt very homely with good fittings, many books and a lovely upper sitting room with records. Quiet and comfortable, and it was nice to meet our friendly and interesting hosts when we left. It's quite a drive to get into the heart of the Lake District but you have the advantage of being close to the coast in a less busy area.

Such a beautiful cottage ,homely ,clean , well just perfect , we where nearly put off by comments about the private road and the potholes but just drive slow and it’s not a problem we parked fine at the back of the cottage very easy too Loved the place and will be booking to go back It’s so peaceful which was just what we were looking for.

The lane to the cottage. So many potholes.

The log fire was lovely. Apart from a potato masher, there was everything you could wish for in the kitchen area.. The dryer was a nice touch.the shower was great.the bed was so comfortable,slept well every night.such a lovely place to relax. Views were great and the binoculars were a handy thing. Easy access to get in and out.will definitely look at booking again.

Drafty door and windows. The parking was ok but a bit tight. My main issue was the lane. So many pot holes.

All we needed was there and location very happy
