The host, the property, the location - all faultless. Heed the clear warning about the stairs, but, if anything, the spiral staircase added to the charm.

The private garden was beautiful and as we had nice weather, we actually spent a bit of time sitting there enjoying a drink and the ambience. The house itself felt big. The kitchen / diner / lounge area felt really like someone's home so was very comfortable. The location for us was perfect as we intended on doing day trips around Norfolk and Fakenham was a great hub for this.
