"Lovely home, fantastic view."

This was my second time using this accommodation. It’s a great location half hours drive to the coast in a nice little village. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The use of the log burner made it feel even cosier. Sally is a great host, very responsive. The view from the back is beautiful, we enjoyed watching the lambs running around in the field. Will definitely book again.

"A lovely property and with just a few little adjustments could be perfect."

Host was very accommodating. Views were spot on with some lambs thrown for extra cuteness! Lovely setting and a pleasant layout.

Beds are very hard, I appreciate this is personal preference but every member of the party said the same thing. The sofas need to be replaced, very worn and really had seen better days.

Absolutely excellent self catering cottage. Everything you could ask for. Lots of space downstairs and decent sized bedrooms upstairs.

Nothing really. First bed I slept in didn't suit me but that's being really picky.

"A cosy rural retreat making a great base for adventure"

The home was very cosy and well equipped. All instructions provided were clear and helpful. The house was very clean and well presented. The location was quiet and peaceful, in a beautiful Yorkshire countryside setting. A great base for exploring the many attractions the East Ridings has to offer. The nearest shops were a few miles away in Driffield although there was a local farm shop a 10 minute walk away, stocking all the necessities and some more luxury artisan products. All in all, ideal for a short weekend break.

"Modern house with vintage roots"

Great location for a wedding we attended in Sledmere, the property was spotless, very modern and up to date but still had its vintage roots, amazing view from the patio with the sheep and cows, the shower was fantastic very hot and fast, the downstairs living and kitchen area was a good size, the tv has Netflix so that was ideal, very quiet so no noise the whole night, 3 double bedrooms and the beds were quite comfortable, would definitely recommend staying here.

Stunning views, clean and tidy. Nicely decorated for christmas. Welcome gift was thoughtful.

Sofa has seen better days but comfortable enough, kettle and toaster would benefit from being replaced. Mattress in back double bedroom would benefit from an additional topper. However none of this impacted our stay greatly, we had a great time!
