Lovely house to ourselves. Loved feeling like we lived there for a couple of nights! Great amenities and excellent location.

Stairs were quite narrow and steep.

The house was large and spacious, perfect for a group. There were enough beds for everyone, and the bathroom was very roomy, with a design that felt inspired by traditional Japanese rooms. Baths - it was a real treat. The whole house gave a very authentic experience; you could really feel how people used to live in the past. The design, the rooms, and the futon beds all added to the atmosphere. The layout of the rooms, the sliding doors - everything created a magical and charming vibe. It's also in a great location, very close to everything, including a popular local restaurant just a short walkaway. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was a spacious dining area as well.

It was really cold - even with all the available heating options turned up high, the house stayed very chilly. It didn't feel insulated at all, and at times it felt even colder inside than outside. To get to the house, we had to walk quite a long distance that wasn't suitable for suitcases. After all the travel and paperwork, dragging our bags all the way to the house was exhausting. A possible solution would be to install a keypad lock so guests can go straight to the house. The check-in process at reception took a very long time. Even though there was only one person ahead of us, we had to wait ages. Plus, the reception is only open from 3 to 6 p.m., which is very limiting. We also got a long list of strict rules, including things we were told to photograph and lots of warnings about what not to do. There's no bathroom upstairs in the apartment, so you have to go down 13 steep stairs in the freezing cold in the middle of the night - especially difficult if you're staying with children.

There’s plenty of space and feels like a home. Love that there’s a big dining table and kitchen. It’s great for family/close friends staying together!

We visited during winter and the house is very cold. We turned the heating on 24/7 and closed all the doors to each room to keep the spaces warm. The hallway and staircase don’t have any heating. Would be helpful if there are more portable heaters available. Also the futon beds are very thin. Feels like directly sleeping on the floor. Would be great if thicker futon beds can be provided or if we can use multiple to stack them up. Lastly, they don’t provide free towel changes, so stays within a week are probably ok, but might need to request fresh towels if the stay is longer.

Would have loved a washing dryer in property and a car spot.
