Getaway Country Cottage -Entire House w/ Fireplace

Excellent place, everything was clean. It had everything I needed, I highly recommend it.

This cottage was CLEAN, comfortable and serene. The house was very well equipped with everything from pots/pans, dishes, small and large appliances, soaps, bath and kitchen linens, wash/dryer. There was a water heater that we didn't have to share with 10 rooms, so no cold showers!! We saved a fortune by cooking our own breakfast and dinner on a full size stove. The decor inside the home is absolutely charming.The house is in the country so it was very quiet. No slamming doors, talking and laughing in the corridors, clanging elevators, or noisy ice machines. There are woods around the large property with deer, hooting owls, raccoons, and rabbits. Behind the house is a covered picnic area with a flat TV, fitness equipment, fire pit under beautiful pecan trees, and toys for children. We completely enjoyed our time at Getaway Cottage. We have relatives in the New Bern area and this is our 2nd stay at the cottage and we will be back again and again.

The yard was amazing. We really enjoyed the tv outside and the workout equipment.

The upstairs bedroom got extremely hot in the day despite the portable air conditioner. There were a ridiculous amount of bugs inside the house. More than once I woke up to bugs crawling on me. There were also mice!!!

I liked the space and different rooms, it was so spacious and perfect for myself and the kids. They loved the house, thought it was way cool. It was well worth the money for the house. It is decorated so nice too.

Nothing bad to say, a little farther way from beaches than I thought, but that was my fault not the house. It was still lovely to take day trips to various beaches & sights. I would totally stay here again!

The location was perfect to my sisters house 🏠 there was no breakfast offered it was a airbnb it was just perfect I would invite everybody to use the service and Mrs Endy was amazing 🤩 and friendly and exceptional in every way 🙏🏾😇🙏🏾

I really enjoyed staying at the house! Clean, quiet, and very safe. There was none of the usual hotel/motel noise; ie: comings/goings of others and their vehicles, vending machines, ice machines, maids in the halls, elevators or stairwells. I didn't have to worry about my vehicle and contents in a garage somewhere or out in a parking lot. The house had everything I needed from tissues and toilet paper to coffee and laundry soap. Roku TV so I could watch ANYTHING I wanted in the evening. The next door neighbor was very friendly and helpful. Had a nice chat with him over a couple of beers on the back porch.

I can't think of a thing I didn't like!!!
