Pure escapism! Amazing views, beautiful scenery & location. Peaceful & quiet. Friendly horses as neighbours! The lodge was very comfortable & well equipped. Quirky & imaginative yet modern design

Everything was exceptional

Secluded and quiet The horses were good company. Our dog loved it as he could see everything that was going on if he was inside or out. Very important for a Collie (cross)!

Would be good to have a little fuel for the outdoor stove.

The only thing I would say is the hill going up to the property it’s a little steep and will be very slippery especially when wet maybe a gravel path so you can drive car up to the top as lugging luggage is a bit of a struggle especially if you have walking difficulties But I would definitely go back it was beautiful

Our second visit and we enjoyed it just as much. It's a beautiful view, very comfortable and unusual. People do need to take note that access will be a challenge for some. It's part of the charm, but might not be suitable fpr people with mobility issues as it's located up a steepish grass track.

This is a really lovely place with exceptional views. The property was warm, comfortable and cosy with everything you could possibly need. We could relax and decompress from everyday life.

The property lived up to it's exceptional rating it was a beautiful stay with a stunning interior we spent Christmas Eve & Christmas Day 🎄 it had a fully equipped kitchen for us to cook a full Christmas dinner, the WiFi and Television equipped with all mod cons made for a very cosy stay, the views are exceptional. The Host contacted us before arriving with very detailed directions which made the journey incredibly easy to arrive and unpack with ease. If you are looking for a country getaway for amazing value look no further 10/10
